This week Mommy Moments theme is playing time. Being a kid is fun. You can play anytime, anywhere with anything you want... until your mom calls you to eat, sleep, take a shower, do homework, etc. off course (remember those days? now we're the moms calling our kids). Anyway, like any other kid out there, Evan loves to play. He spends most of his playing time with Thomas train set as he's a big fan of Thomas the Tank Engine.
Unfortunately, due to the ongoing renovation job in our house since last month, there's not enough space for him to play with his train sets inside the house anymore. So for the time being we let him to play Thomas online.
He has other toys too, but those toys usually don't last long. This little Mickey Mouse drum for example, only lasted for two weeks before he broke it. Though I must say I'm glad he did it, you can't imagine the noise he made with that drum.
While we're at the mall, we always stop by at the children play area. He loves riding a motorcycle or a car there.

The long holiday is over and it's time to go back to school. Today is Evan's first day as a K-1 student. Since he will continue studying at the same school we hope he will not find difficulties adjusting himself to this new school year. At least he's already familiar with the school environment, the teachers, and he will meet his old classmates again. The only thing he needs to work on is now he will be going to school every day instead of three times a week like when he was in Pre-K. Also the school hours will be an hour longer.
