On his third week at school, Evan learned about
season. The students were taught about all seasons in the world even though we only have two seasons here, wet and dry. They learned about what would happen and what things needed during each season. As always, on Friday the students would practice about what had been taught during the week. This time the teacher asked each student to bring raincoat because they would practicing about rainy season.
Here's my son wearing his raincoat the night before. He was so excited about the next day activity at school until he asked me over and over again to try out his raincoat.
Too bad there was no rain on that day even though we were still in rainy season. I know the kids would prefer to have a real rain, instead of being hosed by their teachers ;=)
Oops I lost him, where is he?
There he is, happy being wet
That's funny, we have 2 seasons in Chicago too. Cold and colder
ReplyDeleteHI Mommy! I like how interactive learning is in your son's school. Even there's no rain, they made the kids feel it and in proper gear ;) Btw, thanks for the google info. It's a good thing they're updating.
