My little boy doesn't like getting haircut. We have to use many tricks whenever we want to cut his hair and, as always, he will do anything to get away from it. Often times we brought him to a kiddy salon and ended up apologizing to the staff there because he still refused to get his hair done even after half an hour playing inside the salon.
The only person he can trust with his hair is my mom's stylist. She comes to the house twice a month for my mom's home treatment, and sometimes we ask her to cut Evan's hair too.

Justin used to be very afraid of getting his haircut, too, especially when he had his first haircut. He was actually afraid of the sound of the electric clipper. He's more cooperative now, but he would only allow a barber/hair stylist to cut his hair on one condition: that no electric clipper will be used.

ReplyDeleteThe trick that we did was I joined him in the barber shop and both of us was getting a hair cut so he wasn't afraid.
Until this time, we go to barber shop together to get our haircut.

Thanks for stopping by mommies, I forgot to mention that my son was ok having haircut until we shaved his head clean when he was barely two yo. He didn't like it. Since then we got trouble whenever we want to cut his hair.
