Trip to Anyer (Again) Part 2

Day 2 – Friday, Oct 3rd Continue...
At 2pm we checked in to Nuansa Bali Hotel (we had been there on August); we stayed at a two-bedroom villa with garden view for one night. In line with its name, Nuansa Bali Hotel was decorated with Balinese carvings and crafts in order to give a Balinese touch.

The hotel’s area was not as big as the first one, but it was located by the sandy beach which was perfect for us. Unfortunately, it was raining that day so we spent most of the time staying inside the villa.

Day 3 – Saturday, Oct 4th
On the last day of our vacation, we stayed at the beach from morning till noon. Evan still looked sleepy in the morning, but soon he was having his day.

After lunch we checked out from the hotel. At first we planned to go to Karang Bolong beach before went home, but after seeing so many cars queuing to that direction, we decided to take a u turn and headed home straight. Later on the evening news we heard the traffict was stuck for hours there, thank God we decided to go back. Everybody was tired on the way home, including Evan, he was fallen asleep. We arrived home around 6pm.

Trip to Anyer (Again)

Last week we had a three day vacation at Anyer beach (again). If you're wondering why we oftenly go to Anyer beach for holiday, well, one of the reasons is because Anyer is the nearest decent beach from where we live. It takes less than 4 hours drive to go there. Another reason is because Anyer is situated in a remote area where beach is the only attraction, so all family members will have the same purpose: playing at the beach. No temptations from shopping mall or restaurant. Here’s the story from our trip last week.

Day 1 – Thursday, Oct 2nd
We left the house in the morning at 8:45am and arrived at Sanghyang Indah Spa Resort, Anyer, around noon. Initially we booked a two-bedroom villa for two nights, but after we looked around we decided to cut it into one night only. The resort was not bad, so were its facilities; unfortunately, it did not have what we were looking for: the sandy beach! So we spent the rest of the day hunting for a new place for tomorrow, then played at the beach nearby.

After that we had lunch and got ready to move out. There was a small incident when we prepared our things; Evan was stumbled on the floor and made his lips bleeding.

From the file: Trip to Mutiara Carita - Oct 2007

During the Lebaran 2007 holiday, Evan and family took a vacation to Carita Beach, West Java. They stayed at Mutiara Carita Cottages. It was the first trip to the beach for the 2 year-old boy and he enjoyed it. The beach by the resort itself could not be used for swimming; however, there was a big swimming pool there where Evan spent most of his time playing water.
